Text Box: Eight Seasons Readers Comment Writing about the Winter highschool haiku contest issue, poet Lavonne Westbrooks said: I wanted to say that two of the poems posted really impressed me. The one by Jennifer Davidson said so much about her passion and how she will suffer for it! Cheerleading I assume! And then there is Desiree Sarna's. She put a lot of thought into her poem and came up with a very nice image. I like the idea that houses might draw strength from the rain.
